#277 - the cake loop

Hey! Double size strip! I was going to split this in half and run it as two updates, but then I realised that the word 'glomp' didn't technically qualify as a punchline. I spoil you, I really do.

#278 - Google of the mind

I actually had to call my lovely girlfriend to ask what colour the letters of 'Google' are. This is what having no internet has reduced me to.

I am going to be at the Bristol Comic Expo this saturday, so if you live somewhere nearby or if you were going anyway because you like comics you can drop by and say hello. I will have books and badges to sell and I will draw you a sketch too if you ask nicely. It will be high times!

#279 - brain pain - part 1

It looks like Steve still hasn't learned to spell chloroform. I don't know why I bother paying for those classes.

Don't forget I'll have a table at the Bristol Comic Expo this saturday and it would be great to see you if you can make it. Unless you're some sort of ravenous inter-dimensional beast that is viewing this comic through a rift in reality with it's single blood-red eye, in which case I'm probably less keen to make your acquaintance. You know, unless you bring some biscuits obviously.

#280 - brain pain - part 2

I am not sure why everyone is suddenly joining facebook (I guess people just realised it's exactly like mySpace only people aren't allowed to make their pages completely unreadable), but I've blindly leapt onto the bandwagon anyway. So if you have already added your 'face' to the 'book' you can now join the Beaver and Steve group here. Good times are coming your way!

The Bristol Comic Expo was pretty excellent. I met lots of lovely people, drew a squid, a chicken and a batman villain, sold some books and received a packet of hobnobs and a terrifying stalk of space celery. All in all: a success! I'm not sure what my next convention is going to be though ... watch this space!

And now for the bad news: the mean old US postal service is increasing all their prices, which means that the shipping costs of Beaver and Steve shirts are going to go up (books are unaffected cos they ship from the UK. Woo!), especially for orders outside the US/Canada. I'm not quite sure how debilitating these new prices are going to be, so until I figure out how much I should charge for shipping in future you can still get shirts at the old prices. Take advantage of my indecision and order your shirt today!

#281 - brain pain - part 3

As if the above offering weren't enough to satiate your appetite for poorly-drawn mockeries of nature, I also have a guest strip up today over at Goats. It has a giant anthropomorphic glass of beer. Yes.

#282 - brain pain - part 4

You might think that I have forgotten that Beaver's body was actually eaten by mechanical insects 2 episodes ago, but maybe I'm just cleverly employing the literary technique known as the 'unreliable narrator', as used in the 1995 film 'the Usual Suspects'. Yes, that is just how clever I am! Like some sort of incredibly wise old otter.

#283 - time for pie

I really have nothing to add.
